🎬 What video formats are supported?
We support most common video formats including MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, and WebM. For best results, use MP4 with H.264 encoding. Maximum file size is 500MB.
📺 Can I translate YouTube videos?
Yes! Simply paste the YouTube URL and we'll download and translate the video automatically. We also support Vimeo, Dailymotion, and most video hosting platforms.
⏱️ How long does translation take?
Processing time depends on video length and queue status. A 5-minute video typically takes 2-3 minutes to process. Longer videos take proportionally longer. Pro and Enterprise plans have priority queue access.
🗣️ Can I choose different voices?
Yes! We offer 14 premium voices per language powered by Google's Chirp3-HD technology. You can select male or female voices. The API also supports automatic voice matching based on source audio.
🔊 Can I keep the original audio?
Absolutely! Enable "Keep original audio" to mix the translated voice with the original audio in voice-over mode. You can adjust the original audio volume from 0% to 100%.
💾 How long are my videos stored?
Translated videos are available for download immediately after processing. Files are automatically deleted after the first download or within 24 hours for security and privacy reasons.
🔑 How do I get an API key?
API keys are available for Pro and Enterprise subscribers. Contact us at translator@medueti.com to request API access. Free tier users can use the web playground without an API key.
❌ My translation failed. What should I do?
Common causes include: video longer than 30 minutes, file larger than 500MB, video with no audio track, or unsupported format. Try with a shorter video or different format. If issues persist, contact support with your job ID.
